The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit
Psalms 81:10 (b)
Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray unceasingly. Many people would think that to pray “unceasingly” means to literally stay on our knees every single minute of every day. But what we often miss is the fact that prayer is a relationship. It is not just talking, but also listening. It is being aware and acknowledging God in every step of the way - every day.
When we realize that we are not in a
religious relationship but in a love relationship with God - only then can we pray unceasingly.
To say it another way: the child of the King will never enjoy the King nor his own royalty unless he stops thinking like an orphan or a slave or a butler.
You are a child of God - not a business partner - so start acting like one.
